The Performing Arts Centre for Nottingham Girls’ High School is an innovative new build construction housing a 334 seat auditorium, foyer, dance rehearsal spaces and back of house facilities.
The project comprises the construction of a New Performing Arts Centre at the Nottingham Girls High School and external works. The new build will be connected to the existing Sixth Form Building. The basement comprises of an Insitu concrete structure which is completed at ground floor which also acts as a transfer slab for the upper structural steel construction. The building envelope is formed in rendered block work walls, curtain wall glazed system and vertical cladding materials and a single ply membrane roof.
​Construction took 86 weeks, which included substantial ground works and a complex steel frame.
