“Co-ordinating all health & safety aspects of your construction project;
from conception through to completion.”
There are seven duty holders under the CDM Regulations 2015. Each of these parties have responsibilities to fulfil and Andrew Goddard Associates Ltd can act as CDM Advisers to ensure these duties are completed.
We support Clients, Principal Designers, Principal Contractors and all other parties involved in construction projects.
Our Safety Management System comprises 3 folders full of all the documentation and signage a Site Manager will need to effectively manage safe working practices on site. This system includes a comprehensive and site-specific Construction Phase Plan tailored to your project covering all aspects of site security, traffic management arrangements, Site Rules, Fire and Emergency arrangements and more.
External site health and safety inspections by independent competent health and safety professionals are now considered an essential part of construction site health and safety arrangements.
Our Inspections provide reassurance and peace of mind to the Clients that the construction work on their projects is being carried out in accordance with legal and best practice requirements and an opportunity for Principal Contractors and Contractors to demonstrate that the safe systems of work and good health and safety standards are being followed on their sites.
Our consultants are trained in line with fit2fit requirements standard to ensure personnel exposed to dust as a by-product of their trade are protected. As well as testing personnel, our consultants offer advice on best practice to suitably manage dust extraction, control measures and RPE use and maintenance.
Whether you’re looking to improve your own knowledge or provide new or refresher training to employees, our E-Learning courses will guide you through the regulations, your legal duties, identifying hazards in your workplace and suitable control measures. Each course is followed by a short test to clarify your understanding regarding that particular topic, upon which after completion, you will be issued a certificate.
