About the Course

Slips, trips and falls can occur in any environment in any industry. It doesn’t matter if you work in an office or on a construction site, there is still a potential hazard that can easily be avoided. Injuries from slips, trips and falls from height are the three most common causes of inures in the workplace. Together, they amount to nearly 30% of all injuries that last over seven days and an estimated 1.5 million working days are lost in the UK. The Health And Safety at Work Act 1974 puts a duty on employers and employees to control identified risks and implement control measures to ensure the safety of themselves and others, including the public.
